PRIVACY POLICY — Personal Budget (iOS App)

Personal Budget (“the App”) is developed and operated by Pawel Juszczyk (“we”, “us”, “our”).
This Privacy Policy explains how the App handles your data.
We take privacy seriously and designed the App so that your information stays on your device only.


1. Data We Collect

The Personal Budget app does not collect, transmit, store, or share any personal data on external servers.
All data remains locally on your device, including:

  • Transaction history

  • Categories, groups, and vendors

  • Barcodes and products

  • Notes you add

  • Theme and settings preferences

  • Premium subscription status (managed by Apple)

We do not collect:

  • Names

  • Addresses

  • Email addresses

  • Phone numbers

  • Location data

  • Photos

  • Contact lists

  • Device identifiers

  • Advertising identifiers


2. How Data Is Stored

All data is stored locally on your device’s storage using Apple’s secure system frameworks.

The app does not:

  • Send data to any external server

  • Use cloud storage

  • Share data with third parties

  • Track your activity

If you delete the app, all data stored on your device is permanently removed.


3. In-App Purchases

The App offers premium features via Apple’s StoreKit.
We do not process or store any payment information.
All purchases and subscriptions are handled entirely by:

Apple Inc.
via App Store and Apple ID.

We only receive a Boolean status such as:

  • “premium active”

  • “premium inactive”

No payment data or user identity information is accessible to us.


4. Camera Access (Barcode Scanner)

The App may request camera access if you choose to scan a barcode.

  • Camera is used only for detecting barcodes.

  • No photos or videos are taken or saved.

  • No images are uploaded or transmitted.

  • Access is optional and controlled by you.


5. Analytics & Tracking

The App does not use any analytics tools, including:

  • No Google Analytics

  • No Firebase

  • No SDKs

  • No tracking

  • No advertising

  • No profiling

We fully support App Tracking Transparency (ATT) by not tracking anything at all.


6. Children’s Privacy

The App does not target children and does not collect personal information.
As no data is transmitted or stored externally, the App is safe for all ages.


7. Third-Party Services

The App does not use any third-party services except standard Apple frameworks required to run the app:

  • StoreKit (for subscriptions)

  • AVFoundation (for barcode scanning)

  • SwiftUI and Combine

  • Local on-device storage APIs

These services do not transmit personal data to us.


8. Your Rights

Because the App does not collect or store personal data outside your device, you have full control:

  • To erase your data → delete the app

  • To revoke camera access → change it in Settings → Privacy → Camera

  • To manage your subscription → Apple ID → Subscriptions

No other requests are necessary since we do not hold any of your data.


9. Changes to This Policy

If we make changes, this Privacy Policy will be updated and the revised version will be available both in the App Store listing and on our website.
